Zijian Ding received his B.S. from the School of EECS, Peking University, and is now a PhD student in Computer Science at UCLA’s VAST Lab, advised by Prof. Jason Cong. His research applies AI/ML to hardware design, focusing on software-to-HLS transformation, foundation models for performance prediction, and design-space exploration. He received the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship in 2025.
